Funeral services were held for John O. Miller on June 5 at the Hofmeister Chapel with the Rev. R. Olson officiating.

Music was furnished by Mrs. Marlyn Sisson and Mrs. Willam Gortmaker who sang, "In The Garden" and "Near The Cross", with Mrs. James A. Schnepf as the organist.

Casket bearers were Ernest Peterson, William Hendrickson, Leonard Finn, John Ihnen, John Koller, Jerald Schaefer.

John o. Miller was born January 19, 1875 and came to Dakota with his parents in 1878 to homestead near Beresford, SD. He was able to enjoy Pioneer Day at Turner County Fair last year. He was engaged in farming in Clay and Turner counties until he retired in 1952. Since then he has made his home with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Louis Finn.

He was hospitalized in March and having suffered a stroke he gradually grew weaker and passed away early Tuesday morning, June 5.

He was laid to rest in Rosehill Cemetery at Parker.
