Miss June M. Sooby, 18, daughter of Mrs. Mabel Sooby, formerly of Wilkes-Barre, died yesterday in Wilkes-Barre Gerneral Hospital after a lingering illness.
Miss Sooby was born in this city and was a resident here until last February where the family moved to Irvington, N. J. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church, North Main Street, and attended Coughlin High School.
Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Mabel Sooby, and these brothers and sister, Howard, George and Roland, all of Irvington; Clarence, Parsons; Peter, Bristol, Pa.; twin brothers, Martin and Marquand, Girard College, and Mrs. David Thomas, Wilkes-Barre.
The body will be removed to the home of her sister, Mrs. David Thomas, 121 Darling Street, city, from where the funeral will be held at a time to be announced today.
