Widow [sic]
38 N. 11th Street, 9th Ward
Philadelphia Inquirer, January 6, 1892
"COXE - On the evening of Thursday, December 31, Mary J., daughter of the late Dr. John Redman Coxe, Jr., in the 79th year of her age.
Funeral services at St. Mary's Protestant Episcopal Church, West Philadelphia, on Wednesday, the 6th instant, at 1.30 precisely. Interment private."
---------
Note. Given the age difference, Mary J. could not be the daughter of Dr.John Redman Coxe, Jr., who was born in 1799.
This comment was provided by an interested researcher:
I believe this is his wife as Mary appears in the 1850 US Census as age 35 which would give a birthdate of 1815. But as you know people frequently misrepresented their age. She is listed as his wife, not a child.
