Her obituary found in The State: Mrs. James G. Mayrant, widow of the late James G. Mayrant, died at 4:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her son-in-law, Alfred Wallace, 1714 Senate street. The funeral services will be held at Trinity church at 4:30 o'clock this afternoon, and the interment will be in the churchyard. Mrs. Mayrant was 65 years of age. Before marriage she was Miss Emma Richardson of Sumter. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alfred Wallace and Mrs. A. D. Morgan, both of Columbia. The friends of Mrs. Mayrant are grieved to hear of her death. She was a woman of excellent traits, and her death comes as a distinct blow to those who had the pleasure of knowing her. The pallbearers will be: W. McB. Sloan, J. Frost Walker, J. C. Morrison, W. H. Townsend, Hazel Thomas, A. M. Deal, Thornwell McMaster and G. A. Guignard.
