RICHARD H. WOLCOTT, age 86. Beloved son of the late Horace D. and Ruby M. Wolcott (nee Freiwald); younger brother of the late Virginia Jane. The Wolcott family raised their children and stayed in East Cleveland until the death of Virginia Jane in 2004. At that time, Richard relocated to Bratenahl, Ohio and lived in peace and tranquility. Richard graduated from Shaw High School in 1944, entered the Navy Air Corps, and spent the war years in the South Pacific until he was honorably discharged in June of 1946. At that time, he returned to Cleveland and enrolled at Western Reserve University, where he received his degree in September, 1950. In October of 1950, he was employed by the W.K. Kellogg Co. of Battle Creek, Michigan, representing them in the Cleveland area until his retirement in 1990. Mr. Wolcott was a very good friend and companion of the late Mr. Richard Chase Burrows of Pepper Pike. Graveside Service Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Acacia Park Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends at the SCHULTE & MAHON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 5252 MAYFIELD RD., LYNDHURST (BETWEEN RICHMOND AND BRAINARD) FRIDAY 3-7 P.M.
