Roy Allan Rosner "PaPa" 84, Pound went peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday November 6, 2012 with his family by his side. He was born on August 24, 1928 in Pound to the late Herman and Esther (Bednarz) Rosner. On June 15, 1957 Roy married Marian Rymer at Pioneer Baptist Church, Pound. Together they owned and operated the family farm that Roy grew up on. He worked on the farm until one week before going home to be with the Lord. He enjoyed riding his Gator to and from the farm and all around the farm property. Roy was a committed husband to his wife and a true man that took pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was an usher at Pioneer Baptist Church for many years, a director for the former Pound Equity Co-Op, he also did custom planting, and harvesting in the Pound area and surrounding communities. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Marian, four children Allan (Wanda) Rosner, Pound; Lori (Brian) Murphy, Greenwood; Lee Rosner, Pound; Scott (Jennie) Rosner, Green Bay; six grandchildren Amber (Reggie) Thompson, Aaron (Stacy) Rosner, Tyler Murphy, Hannah and Logan Rosner; 2 great-grandchildren Jordan Allan, and Grayson, and a great-granddaughter expected in December. He is further survived by a brother Ken (Nancy) Rosner, Crivitz; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a grandson Jordan Roy Rosner; two brothers Vernon, and Howard; two sisters Alma Rosner, and Karen Berkhahn. Interment will be at Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette.
