Frances E. Forbes age 90 died on Friday, October 8, 2004 surrounded by her family at Rennes Health Center East where she was a resident. She formerly resided at 181 Chicago Court. Born on December 7, 1913 in Marinette daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Ralph (Lucy Alguire) LaValley.
She married Francis "Frank" Zeman on November 26, 1932. He preceded her in death in 1947.
On September 9, 1950 she married Edward "Ted" Forbes and he preceded her in death on November 7, 1982.
Frances enjoyed spending time with her friends on casino trips.
She is survived by two sons: Steven (Leah) Forbes, Marinette, WI; Dennis (Judy) Zeman, St. Francis, WI;
two daughters: Amber (Jim) Allard, Menominee, MI and Joan Bohaczek, Peshtigo, WI;
One sister Avis (Chet) Gryzwa, Peshtigo, WI;
One sister-in-law Janet Lindquist;
Special friends, Zygmunt Bohaczek and Melvin Tipler;
16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter Fay Tipler; three brothers: Ralph Jr. "Peter", John and Bob LaValley.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Oct. 11, at the Peshtigo United Methodist Church from 10:00 until time of services at 12:00 noon. The Rev. Norman Bude will be officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Peshtigo.
