MRS. MARY BEATTY
SCIO – Mrs. Mary Etta Beatty, 91, of Scio, widow of William Beatty, died at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Scio Nursing Home after an illness of one year.
Mrs. Beatty was a member of the Scio Presbyterian Church.
She leaves one daughter, Mrs. Cora B. Clay of McDonald, Pa.; one grandson, Paul E. Kerr of Witter, Calif., and three great-grandchildren.
She was born Aug 22, 1869, in Harrison County, Ohio, a daughter of the late John and Jane Mattern.
Friends may call at the Purviance Funeral Home in Scio where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday (EST). The Rev. Mr. John Bartko will officiate. Burial will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Scio.
