Geneva Mae Wilson, 83, of Weldon, Illinois, died at 12:50 a.m. Saturday, December 4, 2004, at her family residence.

She was born at Jabez, Kentucky, on April 24, 1921, to H.O. and Tina Lee McGowan Stephens. She married Carsie Delno Wilson on June 22, 1940, at Bart, Kentucky. He passed away January 1, 1980.

Surviving are two daughters, Barbara (Moe) Sparks, and Janice (Pete) Weaver, two sons, Marshall Dale (Earlene) Wilson, and Gordon Ray (Laura) Wilson, two sisters, Hester Walker, and Wanda Sparks, a brother, Eugene (Ida Mae) Stephens, five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

She was a member of Weldon United Methodist Church, a charter member of Weldon American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Bloomington American Legion Auxiliary. She was a member of Myrtle Chapter, Order of Eastern Star. She owned and operated Wilson's Cafe in Weldon.
