Andrew Phillips, 60, Town of Meeme farmer, died Sunday afternoon at St. Nicholas Hospital following a brief illness.
He was born Sept. 15, 1893, in the Town of Meeme, a son of the late Andrew and Rosella Phillips. He and his brother, Nickolas, had been operating the home farm in the town.
He was a member of St. Fidelis Catholic Congregation, Spring Valley.
Mr. Phillips never married.
Surviving are the brother, Nickolas; three sisters, Miss Mary Phillips, Meeme, Mrs. Jerome Leist, Manitowoc, and Mrs. Edward Gries, Belgium.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Stoltenberg Funeral Home, Cleveland, with Father John P. Baum officiating. Burial will be in the St. Fidelis
Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited
there at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
