James LeRoy Anderbrand, 55, died at his home in Orrstown on Wednesday, December 5, following a year's illness.
Mr. Ankerbrand was born in Fayetteville on April 4, 1890, a son of the late James M. and Mary Gettys Ankerbrand. He was a member of the Jr. O.U.A.M. of Chambersburg and was a carpenter by trade.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora B. Ankerbrand; one sister, Mrs. Wade Hambright of Waynesboro, R.R.1, and one brother, Ralph M. Ankerbrand of Springfield, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Orrstown Radical United Brethren church, in charge of Rev. LeRoy Perry, assisted by Rev John A. Byers; burial in Norland cemetery.
