Charles H. Gordon, 59, of 177 Washington St., Phillipsburg, died yesterday in Betts Hospital, Easton, where he was admitted Aug. 13, following an illness of several years.
Mr. Gordon was last employed by the Easton Metal Powder Co. as a press operator. He formerly was a dyemaker.
Born May 13, 1906, in Easton, he was a son of Mrs. Rebecca Mae Smith Doll, Easton R.D. 1, and the late Louis Gordon. A graduate of Phillipsburg High School with the class of 1927, he was a member of the football team for four years.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg.
