Funeral services for Charles Bland Fitzgerald, 80, of Boyd Tavern, Albemarle County, who died at a local hospital Tuesday, were to be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints today at 3 P.M. with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Mr Fitzgerald was a native of Nelson County, and married Miss Sallie Henry, of Nelson County, who survives, together with three daughters, Mrs. Mamie B. Beasley and Mrs. V.E. Hall, both of Richmond, and Mrs. Sadie Maddox of Charlottesville; three sons, Alvah M., Charles A., and Massie C. Fitzgerald, all of Washington [D.C.]; one sister, Miss Alice Fitzgerald of Nelson county; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
