Death of H.S. Bingham
Henry S. Bingham, formerly of Bennington and for many years a prominent resident of Vermont, died in Greenfield, Mass., Saturday night. Mr. Bingham was born in Burlington, February 9, 1850. He represented Bennington in the legislature in 1894 and had held numerous offices in Bennington. He was a member of the State Railroad Commission from 1900 to 1906. Mr. Bingham enjoyed a very wide acquaintance in Vermont and had a host of friends who will deeply regret to learn of his death. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. James Abercrombie, living in Greenfield. Mrs. Bingham died a year or two ago.
