WILLIS ELLENWOOD
Willis Ellenwood, 50, of 1512 E. Court Ave., died Saturday of a stroke at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Ellenwood was a life-long resident of Des Moines and was an employe of Armstrong Tire Co. for 19 years. He was a member of the Foursquare Tabernacle Church.
Surviving are his wife, Fayrene; a son, L. Wayne, and two daughters, Mrs. Sondra Ridley and Miss Laura Lynn Ellenwood, all of Des Moines; two brothers, Reg of Des Moines, and Glenn of Peoria, Ill.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Foster in Minnesota, and Mrs. Darlene Akers, Des Moines, and five grandchildren.
