Daniel Wayne Stutler, known affectionately as "Danny Boy", was the brother of Susan Diane, Rebecca Lynn (1950-1996), Elizabeth Anne, Garland Dee, and James Lee Maze Jr. as well as the step-brother of Dwayne Wallace Goddard Jr. Daniel was raised by his Maternal Grandparents, Harry Edgar (1898-1974) and Lillian Mae Costello-Stutler (1903-1981). He truly was "MORE THEN A NAME ON A WALL"! He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on September 1, 1965 and graduated from Boot camp, MCRD Parris Island (Platoon 371) on October 22, 1965. After boot camp he completed infantry and advanced infantry training before receiving orders for Vietnam. His death occurred near Danang and Danny's enlistment buddy from Fairmont was Philip Vilone Jr. who lost his life there also on June 16, 1966.
