Robert A. Rudish, of Glen Burnnie, MD, formerly of North Apollo, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, as a result of cardiac arrest. Born Oct. 30, 1926, he served in the Air Force and retired from John Umstead Hospital. He is survived by twin sister, Roberta Simpson, of Live Oak, Fla.; son, James Rudish (Cindy), of Slippery Rock; daughter, Rita Levine, of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two stepsons David Ward (Carol), of North Apollo, Merle Ward and stepdaughter, Nancy Ward, of Millersville, Md.; six stepgrandchildren; and 10 great-stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph M. Rudish and Agness McKinney Rudish, of Bullock, N.C.; brothers, Paul and Joseph Rudish; sister, Dorothy Cable; son, John Rudish (Carol); and wife, Beattrice L. Rudish. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Family Christian Church. Internment at Greenwood Memorial Park.
