Actor. A native of Butte, Montana, Rumsey is best remembered for his role as 'Sam Noonan,' the Bartender, on the television western series "Gunsmoke" from 1956 to 1959. Rumsey's other roles include the films, "Botany Bay" (1953), Desert Hell" (1958), "The Girl In Lovers Lane" (1959), "The Threat" (1960), and "Ship Of Fools" (1965), and a television guest appearance on, "The Cisco Kid."
