Walter H. McKesson, 55, of 485 E Seventh St., died in Reno. He had been employed by Sierra Pacific Power for 16 years and was a maintenance man at the Bureau of Mines for the last three years.Born Sept. 29, 1909 in Minneapolis, Minn., he had lived in the Reno area 20 years.Mr. McKesson is survived by his widow, Grace Laura, two sons: Raymond Prather, of Sacramento, Calif., and Charles Prather, Mobile, Ala.; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Ravels, Fernley; three brothers, Louis McKesson of Falls Church, VA, Robert McKesson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Paul McKesson of Minneapolis, Minn. and eight grandchildren.
Final service was directed by the Rev. Haskett Monday at the Ross-Burke Company. Burial is at Mountain View Cemetery, Veterans section.
