"Page Pioneer" Clora "Ann" Lucas Jurajda, 59, was born April 18, 1940 in Dalhart, Texas, and died Monday, October 18, 1999.

Ann Lucas graduated from Wellington High School in 1960, attending Page High School in 1959. When she was 32, she married Eugene C. "Gene" Jurajda, age 27, on August 12, 1972. Mrs. Jurajda was a secretary at Rita Blanca Electric and Dalhart TV Cable. She was a member of Lincoln Street Baptist Church and the Dalhart Fine Arts Association. She was an artist.

Survivors included her father, "Page Pioneer" Gerald "Tex" Lucas (formerly of Phoenix, AZ; moved back to Dalhart, TX in July 2011); and a brother, Larry Lucas, (Page High School, Class of 1962) of Dalhart.

Services were at 3 p.m., Oct. 21, 1999, in First Christian Church with the Rev. Ray M. Guy, senior minister of First Christian Church, and the Rev. Rusty Hancock, pastor of Lincoln Street Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery by Hass Funeral Home of Dalhart.
