Billy Gene Heinselman, 72, of Ocala, Fla., since 1995, formerly of Cary, N.C., died March 8, 2002, at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala.
He was born Dec. 6, 1929, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Noah and Hattie Delancy Heinselman.
He served for many years as minister for Churches of Christ in several cities in the United States and recently retired from The Woodland Place Church of Christ in Ocala. Prior to his retirement, he ministered in Cary, N.C.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Petty Heinselman of Ocala; and one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Raymond Sieg of Port Orange, Fla.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Ted Heinselman, who died in the Vietnam conflict; six brothers; and three sisters.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, Evangelist Denver E. Cooper, Evangelist Doug Petty and Evangelist Eddie Cooper officiating. Burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Parkersburg. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday.
