Born November 2, 1933, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to Lavelle and Novella (nee Massey) Gregory, and entered into rest, Thursday, November 15, 2012, at his residence in High Ridge, Missouri, at the age of 79 years and 13 days.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one (1) brother-in-law, Ralph Coppin.
He is survived by his wife, Carol (nee Thompson) Gregory, of High Ridge, Missouri, two (2) children, Karen Coppin, of Florida and Dana Sue Maslow, of Florida, three (3) grandchildren, Stephanie, Marisa and Eddie, three (3) siblings, Pat Cannon, of Casper, Wyoming, Faye (Bill) Adams, of DeSoto, Missouri and Linda (Wayne) Laclaire, of Pacific, Missouri, and many other relatives and friends.
Elman enjoyed shooting pool, playing volleyball, and bowling. He was the owner of Greg's Auto Body after he retired from General Motors. He is fondly remembered and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
