E. E. Barton Collection:
The E. E. Barton Collection of Northern Kentucky Families, is a collection of genealogical and family history files and various other types of records compiled in the early to mid-1900's by Edward Everett Barton (1870-1951), a Pendleton County, Kentucky lawyer.
Edward Everett Barton (1870-1951), a prominent attorney and member of the Kentucky Legislature, who pursued his interest in Northern Kentucky genealogy and history between 1905-1961 with the bulk of his work compiled from 1937 to 1948.
Barton's records, have been placed on microfilm and are available from the Pendleton County Public Library and from the LDS in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Research materials include copies of court records, family data sheets, correspondence, and clippings.
The family files include data sheets, copies of marriages, wills, and other court records, notes from published and unpublished genealogies and histories, correspondence, and clippings from local newspapers. Northern Kentucky counties included in the Barton Papers are Pendleton, Campbell, Kenton, Boone, and Grant.

In the 1876 Gazatteer Listing for Boston Station it describes the location: "Boston Station: A village on Licking river, in the southern portion of Pendleton county, and a station of the Kentucky Central R.R. It is 8 miles south of Falmouth, the county seat. Population 200. Lumber, corn and hay are shipped from this place, and Adams Express Co. have an office here. Daily mail. J.W. Hall, postmaster."]
