She enjoyed sewing and quilting and was a member of the Evangelical Free Church and Eagles Lodge 2158. she was a retired member of the dry cleaners union.
Mrs. Lawhead was born April 12, 1920, in Camas and lived in Clark County all her life. Her maiden name was Guffnett.
Survivors include one daughter, Cherie Dellinger of Vancouver, two brothers, Robert Guffnett of Washougal and Leo Guffnett of Sacramento, Calif.; one grandchild; and three grandchildren.
