DEATH OF MRS. ARMSTRONG.
The death of Mrs. Matilda Armstrong occurred last night at 9 o'clock, after a lingering illness. Death was due to paralysis, which had left her in a helpless condition for a week past. Mrs. Armstrong was first stricken on the right side, and a few days later the other side suffered a stroke, completely paralyzing the entire body. Since then death had been only a matter of time, the end coming as no surprise. Deceased was the mother of Mrs. T. J. Michell, at whose home her death occurred. She had resided in this city for many years and by her gentle, loving ways and sympathetic manner, won a wide circle of friends. Her age was seventy-eight years and six months. The funeral will take place from the residence of Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Michell tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with interment at Greenwood cemetery.
