Leroy Aderholt age 82 of Athens, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Aderholt was born May 20, 1930 in Calhoun County to K.W. Aderholt and Alma Coppock Aderholt.
Services for Mr. Aderholt are Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at West Highland Baptist Church. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery with Jerry Smith and Barry Howard officiating.
He was a member of West Highland Baptist Church for 52 years. He was involved in Habitat for Humanity, Carpenters for Christ, and CASA. He was an Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his daughter, Pam Taylor and husband Jeff; sons, Gary Aderholt and wife Rae Ann, Glenn Aderholt and wife Melissa and Darin Aderholt and wife Lisa; sister, Denola Greene and husband Doyle; grandchildren, Jeremy Taylor, Leslie McCloud, Graham Aderholt, Lindsey Schexnayder, Katie Wilkerson, Brady Aderholt, Chelsea Aderholt and Payton Aderholt; 6 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Annie Lou Aderholt; brothers, Clyde Aderholt, Millard Aderholt and Hoyt Aderholt; and his parents.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Taylor, Graham Aderholt, Brady Aderholt, Payton Aderholt, Stephen McCloud, David Wilkerson and Will Schexnayder. Honorary pallbearers are his Sunday School class.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Cancer Society.
