A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, 2006, in Adams Chapel at River View Cemetery for Charles Allan Jackson, who died Oct. 25 at age 89.
Mr. Jackson was born Oct. 6, 1917, in Glendale. He moved to Portland in the early 1950s and was a maintenance mechanic, retiring from Boeing. In 1953, he married Delma E. Richey; she died in 1989.
Survivors include his granddaughters, Jodi Berg and Kim Bales; grandson, Steven O'Dell; four great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. His daughter Patricia O'Dell died in 1996.
