Gary J. Hickmann age 49 of N3476 Hwy 57 in Chilton died on Tuesday August 23, 2005 at his home.
He was born November 22, 1955 in Sheboygan son of Eugene & Caroline (Sprenger) Hickmann. He married Ruth Walters on September 7, 1991 in Manitowoc.
Gary worked as an ironworker and was a member of the Ironworkers Local #8. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and the Ant Hill Mob motorcycle club. Gary enjoyed Packer games, antique tractors and engines. He was proud of the fact that he was described as an ""avid junk recycler"".
Survivors include his wife: Ruth; his parents: Eugene & Caroline; 6 children: Erin, Ann (Special Friend ""Zeb"" Quesinberry), Erik, Ryan, David & Benjamin Hickmann; 1 grandchild: Caleb Hickmann; 4 sisters: Mary (Jim) Herr, Jean (Michael) Kuhfuss, Lori (Erik) Johnson, Judy (Jim) Kuhn; and 1 brother: Mark (Special Friend Julie Bartels) Hickmann. He is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Gary was preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents and a niece.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Friday August 26, 2005 at Good Shepherd - Main St. Parish in Chilton with the Rev. Thomas Akpen officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Family Funeral Home (411 W. Main St.) in Chilton from 3 - 8:00 PM on Thursday August 25, 2005 and on Friday at the church from 9:30 - 10:30 AM when services will be held. A memorial fund has been established in the name of Gary J. Hickmann. The family would like to thank the St. Elizabeth Oncology & Hematology staff, the Affinity Home Hospice Staff and especially Ruth for her constant loving care.
