"Patrick F. Codire, retired restaurant owner, died at 8:30 last night at his home on West Fairview Street, Piedmont. Mr. Codire had been in ill health for a number of years and bedfast for one year.
A veteran of the Spanish-American War, Mr. Codire was the son of the late Patrick and Margaret Codire. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Miss Mayme Codire and Mrs. Margaret Murphy, with whom he resided."

"Requiem High Mass for Patrick F. Codire, retired restaurant operator who died last Wednesday night at his home on West Fairview Street, was celebrated Saturday morning in St. Peter's Catholic Church by the Rev. George J. Pugh, assistant pastor. Interment was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Edward Pendergast Jr., Wilbur Myers, Julius McCabe, Thomas Footen, Frank Malloy and Joseph Kight, members of Kelly-Mansfield Post No. 52, American Legion.
Honorary pallbearers were Charles Ross, Fred Wiseman and Cliff Wright, veterans of the Spanish-American War."
