HAZZARD - Julie Ann Hazzard, 15, R. R. 1 Pecatonica, died at 12:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, 1971, in Rockford in an automobile accident. Born June 27, 1956 in Rockford, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hazzard. Lived all her life in the Seward area. Member of Seward Congregational Church confirmation class. She was a sophomore at Winnebago High School where she was a member of GAA, the Ski Club and German Club. She was also a member of Seward 4-H Club.
Survivors include her father, Glen; a sister, Nancy, and a brother, Thomas, both at home; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Jessie Mudd, Winnebago, and several aunts and uncles and cousins.
Services at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Seward Congregational Church with Rev. Dale R. Beaman, pastor, officiating. Burial in Twelve Mile Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Kenneth L. Countryman Funeral Home, Pecatonica. No visitation. A memorial fund has been established in her name at the church.
