Gloria Jean Adams, age 85, of 916 E. Clifford Street Plymouth, passed away Monday Evening (Nov. 19) at Plymouth Care Center where she had been a resident for the past 9 years.

She was born on May 3, 1927 in the Town of Rhine, WI, a daughter of the late Anita Brickbauer Adams.

Gloria attended Elkhart Lake Elementary School and graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1946. She also attended Orthopedic School in Sheboygan.

She was employed as a key punch operator for the Time (Fortis) Insurance Company for 33 years, retiring in 1992. Gloria was a member of St. Paul Christian Church in the Town of Russell.

Survivors include: Two Brothers: Eugene Adams of Plymouth and Eldred (Elaine) Adams of Franklin; Special nephew and niece: Kurt (Diane) Adams of Plymouth and Sharon (Paul) Sucharski of Centennial, CO. Also survived by other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by two sisters and brothers-in-law: Emogene (Earl) Ortman, Irene (Le-Roy) Schuricht and One sister-in-law: Janice Adams.

Following Gloria's wishes her body had been donated to the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday (Nov. 24) at 12:00 Noon at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Keith Hunholz, pastor of St. Paul Christian Church will officiate.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Saturday Morning from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Gloria's name for St. Paul's Christian Church or Plymouth Care Center.

Her father was Harvey Adams born c. 1901. Married to her mother 18th May, 1922.
