Miss Alice J. Tritle of 270 East Washington street, for 33 years a teacher in the public schools of Chambersburg, died Sunday afternoon at 1:35 o'clock at her home after a long illness. She was aged 72 years, 10 months, 22 days. Miss Tritle was a member of the Second Lutheran Church, and for a number of years taught a Sunday School class. She is survived by two sisters, Miss Ella Tritle and Miss Grace Tritle, both at home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 at the Second Lutheran Church in charge of Rev. Paul B. Lucas; burial in Cedar Grove cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church an hour preceding the service. Friends may call at the home tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock.
