WHITESBORO – Daniel W. Congdon, Jr., 35 of 157 Main St., Whitesboro passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 2, 2009.
He was born on March 6, 1974 in Little Falls the son of Rosemary (Duesler) Congdon Burnup of Dolgeville and the late Daniel W. Congdon, Sr.

He attended Dolgeville High School. Daniel enjoyed fishing, golfing and traveling to the Turning Stone Casino.
He was presently employed by Daimler Buses North America in Oriskany and at one time was employed by North Hudson Woodcraft, Dolgeville for several years.

He is survived by his mother and step father Rosemary (Rosie) and Wayne Burnup, Dolgeville, his son Andrew Day, Herkimer, his sister Tracy L. Congdon and her fiancé William Walshe, Oneonta, 2 nephews Zachary Sterusky and Dylan Davis and a niece Keshia Davis. He was predeceased by his father Daniel W. Congdon Sr. in October 1979.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 10:00 am from the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls with the Rev. Rebecca Laird, Pastor of the Dolgeville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills.
