Capt. I.N. Link, mayor of Durham, died suddenly at Greensboro Saturday morning while sitting in a carriage waiting for a train. He had been drinking and was taken to Greensboro for Keely treatment. The physicians there pronounced him insane and it was decided to take him to the State Hospital at Morganton. It was while waiting for the train to start for Morganton that he died. Link had twice been mayor of Durham and was very popular there. He had been twice married, the second time about two weeks ago. His second wife left him on the night of the marriage because he became intoxicated, and had not lived with him since.
