Swen Swenson
RUSHFORD, Minn. (Special) -^-SwenSwenson, 87, died today at 4:15 a.rii. at Commilnity Memorial Hospital, Winona * where he had been a patient four days. He was ill about a year.
He was born here April 1, 1878, to Tobias and'Bertlia Swenson. He lived in this area all his life;
He married Mrs. Helen Tesch Oct. 24, 1927, at Wausau, Wis. He was in the garage business at Rushford from 1913 to 1931 and then worked for the state Department of Highways until he retired. He was a member of Rushford Lutheran Church.
Survivors are:' His wife; three sons, Leonard, Pontiaci 111.; Donald; Evansville, Ind., and Raymond Tesch, Green Bay, Wis:; one daughter, Mrs. Herb (Frances) Anderson, Rushford; 14 grandchildren; five . greatgrandchildren, . and one halfbrother, Alfred, Rushford. Three sisters and one brother have died.
Funeral services, will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Rushford Lutheran -Church, the Rev., Owen Gaasedelen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the church after noon Monday/ Jensen Funeral Home is in . charge of arrangements.
