Graveside service for Charles Rodgers Aday, 72, of Hillsboro will be Sunday, November 25, 2012, at 2 p.m. at East Lawrence Memorial Gardens with Brandon Kerby officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Aday, who died Friday, November 23, 2012, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born October 4, 1940, in Decatur to William and Syble Aday. He retired from 3M after 38 years of service. He also retired from farming, which he loved. He was a member of Hillsboro Baptist Church. Charles also served in the National Guard Signal Battalion.

Survivors include his wife, Dinah Davis Aday; two sons, Michael Aday and his wife, Lisa, of Hartselle and Scott Aday and his wife, Kim, of Muscle Shoals; two grandchildren, Lindsay Aday of Chantilly, Va., and Ashley Aday of Hartselle; and one stepchild, Kyle Dobbs of Muscle Shoals.

Pallbearers will be Michael Aday, Scott Aday, Lee Aday, Guinn Sparks, Bu Letson and Kyle Dobbs.
