A'Journey was born August 22, 2012 in Mt Vernon Illinois the daughter of Darleedria Flippen and Javier Roman. A'Journey attended the South Ton Apostolic Church in Mt Vernon.
She is survived by her father, Javier Roman, mother, Darleendria Flippen, one brother, Keawon Flippen, three sisters, Kiwyona Kivier Roman, Mayanna Dawn Roman, and Aaronayza La'Va Collins, paternal grandmother, Lillie May Moore, maternal grandmother, Darla Flippen, maternal grandfather, Kentaro Hawkins, step grandmother, Edoguina Velez, aunts, uncles, Cortis, Tor-Von, Yolanda, Zietta, Jessica, Brenda,Jose, Jesse and Kenez. two special cousins, Amanda and Christina and a host of great auns, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Jesse Roman and wunt Angie Moore.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Saturday November 24, 2012 at Evangelistic Outreach Christian Center (1407 S. 11TH Street Mt Vernon Il.) with Pastor Garry Moore and Pastor James L. Gordon Sr. officiating. Buril will follow in Mt Vernon Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9a.m. until service time at the church.
