A heart attack caused the death of Mrs. Mary Simon, 59, at her home, 132 High street, city, on Saturday night.
A native of Syria, Mrs. Simon had lived in this city for 54 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church.
Surviving are her husband, John, and the following children: David, Jacob, Simon, Abraham, Pvt. Casper at Camp Gordon, Augusta, Ga.; Michael, Mrs. Ruth Meyer, Philadelphia; Mrs. Velma Storm, and Jennie; brothers, Sgt. Jack Casper, British West Indies; and Esper G. Casper, Lexington, Neb.; Pvt. Nicholas Casper, Miss.; sister. Mrs. Anna Sakelaridos, city, and 12 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 from St. Mary's Syrian Orthodox Church, High street, city. The body will be removed to the church parlors this evening and will remain there until the time of the funeral. Burial will be in the parish cemetery, Hanover Township.
