Services for Robert EIridge "Bob" Howard, 83, of 3234 Highway 257, Dublin, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at New Bethel Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A lifelong resident of Laurens County, Mr. Howard was the son of the late Thomas Andersen and Annie Lee Howard, was owner of Harlow Valley Packing Company and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He died Sunday. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home, who has charge of arrangements.
