Nannie Elizabeth Franks, was born at
Mount Zion, Kentucky on February 29,
1856, and passed away at the family
home in Frankfort, Kansas at 9:30 p.m.
on February 9, 1917 at the age of 60
years, 11 months and 9 days.

She was married on September 25,1873
to David McBee, and to this union was
born four children, Edgar McBee of
Centralia, Kansas, Mrs. Earl Johnston,
Westmoreland, Kansas, Mrs. Fred Fisher
and Mrs. George Bonnell, of Frankfort
Kansas.

When she was fifteen year old she
Became a member of the Baptist church
and later moving to Frankfort she joined
the Methodist church.

Funeral services were held at the M.E.
Church with Reverend L.R. South
officiating at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Burial was in the Willow Hill Cemetery,
Frankfort, Kansas.
