Unionville, MO newspaper, Feb. 24, 1915:

ADDIE MEDORA BRASFIELD
Sorrow was occasioned among the relatives and friends when word passed that Addie Brasfield had passed away at her home in the north part of town Sunday evening at 11:30. She had been ill for about six months but had been able to get up a few times during that time. Only a few days before she had been up, but seemed to grow weaker gradually until death claimed her.
She was born March 30, 1866, near Unionville, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. R.M. Brasfield. Her mother preceded her in death five or six years ago. Since that time she and her father have lived at their home where
she did the housekeeping until too ill to continue it longer. She is survived by her father and two brothers Oscar of Pierre, South Dakota and Casper of this city. She confessed her faith years ago with the M.E. Church but by reason of her infirmity was unable to attend much.
The funeral was held at the home this afternoon at two thirty, having been held to await the arrival of her brother, Oscar. It was conducted by Rev. J. H. Stidham of the Christian church in the absence of Rev. S. C. Foster. Interment followed immediately in the Unionville Cemetery.
