Edward "Tommy" J. Thompson, age 94, recently of Chandler, AZ, was a former longtime resident of Sioux Falls, SD. Tommy was married to the late Marian Ellen Greene. Tommy passed away on November 8, 1998. Tommy retired as a supervisor from Western Electric in 1969 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Tommy was longtime member of Telephone Pioneers of America. Tommy was a resident of Albuquerque for many years. Survivors include his son, James S. Thompson of Fort Pierce, FL, daughters, Margaret Escalante of Waianae, HI and Kitty Wright of Flat Rock, NC. Tommy is blessed with nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, plus many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years and his son, Richard. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 1998 at Gate of Heaven Cememery Chapel, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE, Albuquerque, NM.
