August 2011: Margaret's burial in Mount Repose Cemetery is listed in the Holt Funeral Home records held by the Rockland County Genealogy Society, however, the records show that she was placed in a temporary vault, most likely due to the ground being frozen, but there is no further information as to her exact burial location. There is also no record of the exact burial location for her second husband Thomas Hill, who died in 1903. Could they both still be in the vault?
June 2013: Margaret was buried along side her first husband Sydney Leon Sammis in the Evergreens Cemetery, Brooklyn, section Mizpah, plot 279, on April 4, 1901. There is no marker or head stone on the burial site. Also in this grave are two infants, Wade H Sammis 8/26/1901 and Dorothy Sammis 3/3/1903, they are Margaret and Sidney's grandchildren.
