Nicholas C. Andin Jr., 32 of South Roberts Road, Dunkirk, died Tuesday morning (Dec. 14, 2004) in the town of Ellicott.
He was born in Dunkirk on Oct. 27, 1972, the son of Nicholas C. Andin Sr. and Deborah (Kenny) Andin of Dunkirk.
A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Mr. Andin was an employee of Norm Hills Trucking of Fredonia. A graduate of Dunkirk High School, he was an avid race-car enthusiast and loved his pet parrot, "Elmo."
He was also close to his uncle and godfather Clifford Andin, who predeceased him.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his companion, Betty Acevedo; his stepmother, Beverly Andin of Dunkirk; paternal grandparents, Nicholas and Betty Andin of Dunkirk; maternal grandfather, Stan Kenny of Florida; a sister, Victoria Andin; a brother, Marc Andin, both of Dunkirk; two stepsisters, Michelle Andin of Dunkirk and Kimberly Andin of Fredonia; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and a nephew also survive.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Dolores Kenny.
