Thomas Cleveland ENSEY was born 16 Oct 1884 in Mineral Wells, Palo Pinto County, Texas, USA, and died 2 Jan 1982 in Granbury, Hood County, Texas, USA. He was buried in Spur in Spur Memorial Cemetery, Dickens County, Texas, USA. He was the son of Thomas Cornelius ENSEY and Hannah Isabelle GILLILAND. He married Linnie Webber Dobbins 1906. She died 1913. He married Lenora Josephine MATTHEWS 14 Oct 1915 in Roaring Springs, Motley County, Texas, USA.

SPUR (Special) - Services for Thomas C. Ensey, 97, of Granbury and formerly of Spur will be at 11 a.m. today in First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. Eddie Allsup, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Spur Cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
Ensey died at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Hood General Hospital in Granbury after an illness.
He was born in Mineral Wells and lived most of his life in Spur. He managed a department store in Spur. He married Lenora Matthews Oct. 14, 1915 in Roaring Springs. He was a Mason and had served on the Spur school board.
He was a Methodist.
Survivors include three daughters, Eleanor Bonham of Fort Worth, Kathryn Higginbotham of Granbury and Peggy Hulem of Lynwood, CA; two sons, Cleve, Jr., of Pottsboro and Jack of Granbury; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
