Lois Hannah King of Anderson, SC, formerly of Bremen, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012. She was born in Haralson County, June 10, 1925, daughter of the late Richard A. Hannah, Sr. and Ruby Hudgins Hannah. Mrs. King was a retired employee of the Hubbard Company, where she purchased the fabrics for the slacks. Prior to her employment at Hubbard Company, she was employed at Higgins Slacks in Lineville, AL from 1946 until 1958, having worked in the bookkeeping and payroll department. Mrs. King was a member of the Bremen First Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vermont R. King, whom she married in 1945, and an infant son.
Services will be Tuesday, July 24 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Hightower Funeral Home. Music will be furnished by Sharon Sewell accompanied by Sara Calhoun. Interment will follow in Bremen City Cemetery.
