From Velma's obituary, found in the "Flint Journal," page C-4, 8 November 1994: BURNETT, Christine - of Grand Blanc, age 74, died Monday, November 7, 1994 at the residence. She was born in Malden, Missouri on February 9, 1920 and was a resident of the Grand Blanc and Flushing area since 1947, having come from Essex, Missouri. She married Barrett Burnett on November 9, 1935 in Essex, Missouri. Mrs. Burnett was a member of South Flint Tabernacle.
