From Ella's obituary, found in the "Flint Journal," page C-5, 22 March 1994: MC CLANE, Ella L. (Lucy) - of Flint, age 80, died Monday, March 21, 1994 at Flint Osteopath Hospital. Funeral service will be held Thursday, at the Swartz Funeral Home, Pastor Donald F. Titus officiating. Mrs. McClane was born in Barlow, Kentucky. She married Avary McClane on March 7, 1931 in Kevil, Kentucky. She was a member of Home Baptist Church in Mt. Morris. Surviving are her husband, Avary. She was proceeded in death by her grandson, Thomas McClane, Jr. and brother Roy Boyd.
