Mrs. Minnie Becker, North Tonawanda,
Passes after Lingering Illness
NORTH TONAWANDA - Mrs.
Minnie Becker, 73, died Thursday
night at her home. 391 Stanley
Street, after a lingering illness. She
was born in Pendleton and had resided
in North Tonawanda the last
20 years. She was a member of the
St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed
church at Wendelville. Surviving
are five daughters. Mrs. Charles
Hoyer. Mrs. Charles Gilbert, Mrs.
John Holler. Mrs. Julius Markovitz
and Viola; three sons, John, Roy
and Lester, two sisters. Mrs. Elizabeth
Wendell and Mrs. Anna Moll,
all of the Tonawandas; two brothers:
Philip Killian, of Grand Island,
and Fred Killian. of North Tonawanda,
and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted
tomorrow afternoon at 2:30
o'clock at the residence. The Rev.
Karl Kindt will officiate and burial
will be In the Bear Ridge cemetery.

Mrs. Minnie Becker, 73, died
last night at her home, 391 Stanley
street, after a lingering illness.
Born in the town of Pendleton, she
had resided in North Tonawanda
the past 20 years. She was a member
of the St. Paul's Evangelical
church in Wendelville. She leaves
five daughters, Mrs. Charles Hoyer,
Mrs. Charles Gilbert, Mrs. John
Holler, Mrs. Julius Markovitz and
Viola Becker; three sons, John,
Roy and Lester; two sisters, Mrs.
Elizabeth Wendell and Mrs. Anna
Moll, all of the Tonawandas; two
brothers, Phillip Becker, Sr., of
Grand Island and Fred Backer of
North Tonawanda, and 12 grandchildren.
Rites will be held Sunday
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at
the residence. The Rev. Karl
Kindt will officiate. Burial will be
in Bear Ridge cemetery.
