Doris B. Gross, 91, Sinking Spring, formerly of Pottsville, died March 13 in the Mifflin Center, Cumru Township.
Her husband, George J. Gross, died in 1960.
Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Gertrude (Bickel) Brower.
Gross was employed for 25 years as a secretary by Van Heusen, Pottsville, until her retirement.
She was a member of the Anchor Christian Fellowship Church, Pottsville, where she was a past president of the Missionary Society and a member of the Bethany Christian Fellowship, Cressona, Schuylkill County.
Surviving are a son, Frederick W., Reading; and a daughter, Judith A. (Gross) Adam, Sinking Spring.
Other survivors include a brother, Robert Brower, Pottsville; and two sisters, Laura (Brower) Dewitt, Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, and Betty (Brower) Gerber, Pottsville.
There are also eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Schlitzer-Allen-Pugh Funeral Home Inc., Pottsville. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pottsville.
